With over twenty years of ministry experience, Don Jagers has served as a youth pastor from 2000 to 2014 and, since 2014, as the Lead Pastor of a growing congregation of more than 500 people. As the Director of Hope Alive, he leads medical clinics and life-giving outreach to malnourished children in Haiti, while also guiding mission efforts at home and around the world. Deeply committed to the healing Christ has entrusted to us, Don is passionate about sharing the Gospel, discipling the next generation, and uniting pastors and communities for greater impact. Additionally, he serves as a liaison for The Sterling Rose Sanctuary, actively consulting, praying for, and helping further their mission to set people free from trauma and grief—recognizing this work as an essential part of Christ-centered healing.
AMY STEVENS
Amy Stevens, Founder & Change Leader of The Rovy Group brings over 20 years of experience in strategy, organizational development, and change management, with her most recent role as Head of Strategy & Structure. Additionally, she has spent over a decade volunteering with various nonprofits, most notably supporting Marcia Earhart on development initiatives between 2019 and 2022, where she led efforts in grant writing and fund development. In 2024, Amy made the intentional decision to step away from her Vice President position to focus on helping nonprofits and small businesses thrive. She is deeply passionate about empowering organizations to reach their full potential, believing that when properly supported, these sectors can create transformative, lasting impact in their communities.
Amy believes that The Sterling Rose Sanctuary is uniquely positioned to help individuals navigate their grief and rediscover hope. Through her support of the Sanctuary, Amy is dedicated to contributing to its growth and ensuring more people can benefit from its transformative services, finding the compassion and care they need during life’s most difficult moments.
She enjoys time with her husband and two active daughters in her spare time.

Carie Dougherty is a passionate and accomplished Health and Nutrition Coach with over 30 years of experience empowering individuals and organizations to achieve sustainable wellness through evidence-based strategies, personalized nutrition plans, and holistic health coaching. As a dedicated Advisory Board Member for The Sterling Rose Sanctuary, she lends her expertise to shape nutrition initiatives, enhance program development, and advance the organization’s mission to lead in health and wellness innovation.
A Certified Health & Nutrition Coach, Carie integrates her deep scientific knowledge of human nutrition with a compassionate, whole-person approach to well-being. Whether guiding individuals toward healthier daily habits or collaborating with teams to design impactful wellness programs, she is committed to fostering lasting, positive change.
Recognized for her results-driven methodology, Carie equips clients and organizations with practical tools and actionable insights to make meaningful, long-term health improvements. She champions the power of education and personalized support, helping others achieve their wellness goals through mindful nutrition, fitness, and balanced lifestyle practices.

Dee Howell is the Co-Founder of ktpHowell Transformation, established in 2011 with a bold vision: to see a world filled with people fully living as who they were created to be—saved, healed, delivered, protected, and prospered by the perfect love of our Heavenly Father.

Matthew McConnell is a dedicated legal professional with a strong commitment to serving families and communities. With over a decade of experience in both public and private sectors, Matthew specializes in estate planning, probate, and local government law.
As a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in City, County, and Local Government Law, Matthew brings a thoughtful and compassionate approach to navigating complex legal systems. His work often centers on helping individuals and families find clarity and peace of mind through life’s most difficult transitions.
Matthew currently serves as a City Attorney and has held key roles supporting municipalities across Florida. He is also actively involved in guiding others through estate matters with care and integrity.
