FREEDOM FROM GRIEF and TRAUMA IS WAITING FOR YOU
Let us be your haven as you walk through this season
Our Mission
The mission of The Sterling Rose Sanctuary is to address the mental health crisis by providing compassionate support and transformative healing modalities to individuals navigating trauma and grief. Recognizing that countless people carry the weight of unresolved pain—whether from the loss of a loved one, health issues, physical, emotional, or sexual abuse and shattered dreams—we are dedicated to fostering resilience and restoration. With a focus on both children and adults, we aim to break the cycle of suffering by offering accessible, evidence-based resources for healing. Through the generosity of our donors, we empower those in need to breathe again, move again, and live again with strength and purpose. Together, we strive to create a world where no one has to face their pain alone.

Who we are
The Sterling Rose Sanctuary was born out of the Earhart family's loss of Sterling Earhart, the oldest of Marcia and Scott's five children, in a car accident. Five years later, the Earharts lost a second son, Marc, when he was brutally murdered. This unthinkable loss compelled the Earharts to continue to use their experience with grief to help others. They’ve learned that there is a resurrection of life out of death. Through the loss of their sons, seeds of life have been planted. By establishing The Sterling Rose Sanctuary, Scott and Marcia bring hope and healing to those struggling with trauma and loss.
Why we do what we do
The mental health crisis is real. Mental health issues are at an all time high. Most people you encounter everyday are dealing with some sort of trauma and loss, many of them carrying that trauma and loss for years or decades. According to the World Health Organization, 1 Billion children suffer from trauma, and those children grow up to be adults. Trauma can be caused by the loss of a loved one, physical, sexual, emotional, or spiritual abuse or loss of a dream. Many in our community are coping with current trauma, while also carrying untreated trauma from the past. The healing process takes time, but we love being the boots on the ground and coming alongside those who are hurting. Relief is available. We would be honored to walk you through the journey.
How we do what we do
With Marcia’s education, certifications and 30+ years of counseling/coaching experience, she not only brings best practices for healing to you, she also brings a unique level of compassion born from her personal story. We offer 2 options to find comfort for today and hope for tomorrow . . . 1-on-1 Coaching and our Heart Healing Sessions. Academically prepared, professionally qualified, and personally experienced, Marcia will help you breathe again, move again and live again.
How you can help us help others
As a nonprofit organization we rely on generous donors and companies. Here are 2 things you can do to help us come alongside hurting individuals and families:
Donate:
Everyone who experiences traumatic loss needs healing, regardless of their ability to pay. We never refuse treatment when someone can't afford it. Giving to our Scholarship Fund gives a traumatized person a path forward.
Prayer:
Join our prayer team. We know we are not the healer, Jesus is. We ask our prayer warriors to bring the broken hearts of those we serve into the throne room of God. Your prayers will change a family, change a community and change the world, all for His glory.
The Sterling Rose Sanctuary, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, serves those grieving by providing resources for hope and healing.
Our ministry is expanding across the United States and internationally, empowering individuals to overcome trauma and grief that hinder them from living fulfilling, purpose-driven lives.
